The WLD9600U series switchgear arc flash protection monitoring system is an active protection system used for the rapid detection and elimination of arc flashes generated inside equipment such as switch cabinets and bus ducts due to short circuits or insulation failures, in order to prevent equipment explosions, fires, and personal injuries. The temperature of an arc flash can exceed 10,000℃ and can destroy equipment within milliseconds, while traditional overcurrent protection cannot effectively respond due to action delays (in seconds), hence the need for specialized arc flash protection.
